Dar es Salaam – Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR)
Located just 12 km (7 mi) outside of Dar es Salaam city centre, this airport is easily accessed by road. There are bus services available, but they are infrequent and might not be suitable if you have a lot of bags. So, we recommend an official, metred taxi. The journey will take about 40 minutes.
Kilimanjaro - Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)
The airport is a 3-hour drive from Kilimanjaro so you will need to hire a vehicle and drive yourself or arrange a taxi or a private transfer. A private transfer would probably be cheaper, and saves you trying to park!
