How flight Miles are calculated

The Miles you earn depend on your ticket fare, destination, and Flying Blue status.

For Air France, KLM, and Transavia flights

Miles are based on your ticket fare, excluding taxes and fees.

A higher status means more Miles per euro spent.

  • Explorer: 4 Miles per euro
  • Silver: 6 Miles per euro
  • Gold: 7 Miles per euro
  • Platinum: 8 Miles per euro
  • Ultimate: 9 Miles per euro

Example: A flight at €150 (excluding taxes) gets a Gold Member 1,050 Miles.

For other SkyTeam and partner airline flights

Miles are calculated based on distance flown, cabin, and airline.

Your Flying Blue status also increases what you can earn:

  • Silver: 20% more Miles
  • Gold: 30% more Miles
  • Platinum: 40% more Miles
  • Ultimate: 50% more Miles
